How to Withdraw Funds via Coinbase (Crypto Withdrawal)

A step-by-step guide to withdrawing your Renalta balance as USDC to Coinbase, where you can then cash out to a bank account, debit card, or other options.

If bank withdrawals are not available to you (for example, because you live in a state we don't support, such as New York), you can still withdraw your funds by sending them as USDC to Coinbase. From there, you can cash out to a bank account, debit card, or PayPal.

No crypto experience is needed. USDC is a digital dollar that is always worth $1, so your balance keeps its full value at every step. The full process typically takes only a few minutes.

Step 1: Set up a Coinbase account

If you don't already have a Coinbase account, sign up at coinbase.com or download the Coinbase app. Coinbase will ask you to verify your identity before you can receive and cash out funds, similar to the verification you completed when you signed up for Renalta.

Step 2: Get your USDC address from Coinbase

You will need an address where Renalta can send your funds. In the Coinbase app, tap Receive and choose USDC as the asset. When Coinbase asks which network you would like to use, select Base, where transfers are fast and free. Then copy the address it provides (a long code starting with 0x).

Step 3: Withdraw from Renalta

In the Renalta app, go to Withdraw and choose Crypto Wallet. Select Base as the network, paste in the address you copied from Coinbase, enter the amount, and confirm.

Please double-check the address before confirming, as crypto transfers cannot be reversed once sent. Your funds should arrive in Coinbase within a few minutes.

Step 4: Cash out from Coinbase

Once the USDC arrives in your Coinbase account, select your USDC balance, tap Cash out, and choose your destination: a linked bank account, debit card, or PayPal. Coinbase converts USDC to dollars at exactly 1:1, with no conversion fee.

Good to know

  • Renalta withdrawals are limited to $10,000 per day. If your balance is larger, you can repeat the withdrawal on consecutive days.

  • Always select the same network (we recommend Base) in both apps. Funds sent on mismatched networks may be lost.

  • Coinbase is not the only option. Any exchange that accepts USDC deposits, such as Kraken or Gemini, works the same way: generate a USDC address on a supported network and withdraw to it from Renalta.
